Made with healthy fats, protein and a rainbow of fruit and vegetables, this smoothie sets me up for my busy days and helps keep my skin looking its best.
I add a sachet of Arbonne Skin Elixir to each serving because it’s my secret weapon for building collagen and hydrating my skin from the inside out. The berries, orange and carrot also include vit C, beta carotene and polyphenols to support healthy skin.
1 carrot, chopped
2 baby cucumbers (or 1 medium), chopped
2 ½ cups milk (nut/oat milk or cow’s milk, as preferred)
2 egg yolks (optional – not suitable for pregnant women)
1 orange, chopped
1 banana, chopped and frozen (see Tips)
120g mixed berries (ie, 40g each blackberries, blueberries and raspberries)
½ cup (6 tbs) protein powder (I use Arbonne Essentials)
2 sachets Arbonne Skin Elixir
Place carrot and cucumber into a high-powered blender and process until finely chopped (Thermomix: 10 sec/speed 5).
Add all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth (Thermomix: 15 sec/speed 10). Divide between two serving glasses.
If you don’t have time to freeze banana, just use regular banana and add some ice cubes.
